The Estate of JALO
JALO is instantly recognizable: an expressive, abstracted figuration defined by decisive contour, bold gesture, and emotional density. These are works with presence paintings that don’t simply live on a wall, they anchor a room.
Following his passing, JALO’s output is closed. As with strong estates, the majority of his work now resides in private collections, and what comes to market does so only on rare occasions. The family preserves the archive and releases a highly limited selection through private sale for collectors.
